Double Vanity Units
A double vanity unit solves the most consistent problem in a shared bathroom: two people, one sink, and a morning routine that does not work. By fitting twin basins within a single continuous unit, it eliminates the bottleneck without doubling the footprint and at 1200mm to 1400mm wide, a double vanity sits comfortably in most principal en-suites and larger family bathrooms across UK homes.
The Royale Stones double vanity range goes further than the functional brief. These units are specified with the same materials and build quality as our single-basin collection, solid wood structures, marine-grade plywood carcasses, lacquered finishes, and soft-close drawers as standard, making them a long-term fixture rather than a short-term convenience. Browse the full range below, or explore all styles within our bathroom furniture collection.
Size: 1200mm and 1400mm Configurations
Our double vanity units are available in 1200mm and 1400mm widths; the two sizes most commonly specified for master en-suites and principal bathrooms in UK new builds and renovations.
1200mm Vanity Unit
The 1200mm format works well where the double-sink function is the priority, but wall space is not unlimited. It accommodates two above-counter basins at a comfortable working width per person, with drawer storage running centrally beneath.
1400mm Vanity Unit
Our double sink vanity unit, including the bestselling Bali Solid Wood Fluted Double Bathroom Vanity, adds optional integrated side racks that fold flat when not needed, giving additional open shelf storage without increasing the permanent footprint.
The Kensington Solid Wood Wall Mounted Dual Oval Basin Fluted Vanity at 1400mm pairs two integrated oval stone-resin basins directly into the unit top, eliminating the need to source and align a separate countertop.
Before ordering, measure the available wall run and account for the waste and supply pipework positions; double units require two waste connections, and the plumbing configuration should be confirmed before installation.
Finishes: Solid Wood, Lacquered, and Fluted
The double vanity range runs across three distinct finish directions:
Solid Wood Lacquered
The Bali range uses a combination of solid wood and marine-grade plywood (not MDF) with an ash lacquered finish and characteristic fluted front panels. The light walnut tone with PU topcoat is moisture-resistant, easy to maintain with a damp cloth, and carries a 3-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. The fluted vertical ribbing reads as tactile and considered — the kind of detail that photographs well and holds up over time. This is our most popular double vanity finish.
Stone-top Integrated
The Kensington dual-basin unit pairs the same solid wood fluted construction with a 12mm white stone-resin countertop and two oval inset basins. Everything arrives as a single unit; the basins are already set, aligned, and matched. The matt white stone finish is smooth, non-porous, and complements both brushed gold and matt black hardware.
Porcelain Slab Countertop
The Bali 1400mm with side racks includes a 12mm porcelain slab countertop and two round above-counter basins. Porcelain is harder than stone resin, scratch-resistant, and delivers a clean, sharp-edged aesthetic suited to bathrooms where the overall palette is cooler and more graphic.
For a bolder colour statement across any double configuration, our coloured vanity units include double-width options. For the warmth of natural wood grain, the full wood vanity collection details every solid wood and oak-effect format available.
Wall Hung or Freestanding?
Both installation types are available across the double range.
Wall hung double vanities clear the floor entirely; useful for making a large bathroom feel considered rather than cluttered, and practical because floor cleaning underneath requires no manoeuvring around legs or a plinth.
The Bali and Kensington double units are both wall-mounted, anchoring directly to the wall via reinforced brackets. Browse the complete wall hung vanity range for all floating options.
Freestanding double vanities carry more visual weight, which suits bathrooms where the vanity is intended to anchor the space rather than float within it. They are also more straightforward to install; no wall reinforcement required. Explore our freestanding vanity range for floor-standing double configurations.
Completing the Double Vanity Setup
The vanity unit determines the layout; the basin, tap, and tile selection determine whether the room feels finished.
Our basins include above-counter round and oval formats designed to sit proportionally within double-width units — available to order alongside the vanity so basin diameters and countertop depth are matched from the outset. Taps are sold separately, which allows brushed gold, matt black, or chrome finishes to be chosen based on the wider hardware specification in the room.
For the wall behind a double vanity, large-format tiles, stone-effect slabs in particular, are the most frequently specified finish. Our bathroom tiles include full-room collections across porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone that are available to view in the same showroom visit as the vanity units.
