Coloured Vanity Unit

White is the default. It sells well because it works with almost everything and nobody questions it. But it is also why most UK bathrooms look identical. A coloured vanity unit, on the other hand, anchors the room around a deliberate choice, and the right colour, paired with the right tile and hardware, holds up better over time.

The Royale Stones coloured vanity range is not a novelty collection. Every unit carries the same construction standards as the rest of the range: marine-grade plywood or solid-wood structure, PU topcoat finishes, integrated or paired basins, soft-close storage, and a 3-year manufacturer's guarantee

Colour is the statement; the build is the substance. Browse the full range below, or explore all styles in our bathroom furniture collection.

Vanity Unit Colours: What's Available and What It Works With

Sage Green

The most searched coloured vanity shade in the UK right now. Light green vanity units read calm under natural light and warm under spotlights, making it forgiving across different room orientations as a standalone freestanding unit at 600mm or as a complete 1200mm suite.

Sage vanity unit pairs most naturally with brushed gold hardware, warm white marble tops (included on the 1200mm Imperial suite), and large-format stone-effect or limestone-effect tiles.

Forest Green / Boston Green

Deeper and more saturated than sage. The Boston Green is a wall-hung statement piece featuring an integrated stone-resin basin. It is the strongest against pale or neutral backdrops. Works well with matt black hardware and round mirrors.

Matt Black

Available across two distinct units. The Boston Matt Black is compact and unfussy, suited to cloakrooms and secondary bathrooms.

The Kensington Black vanity is more considered: solid wood fluted front, curved silhouette, integrated stone-resin basin, and optional side cabinets at 750mm and 900mm. Matt black is the most forgiving coloured finish for water marks and daily use.

Light Beige

Warmer than grey, less directional than green. The Imperial Light Beige suits bathrooms where the palette is not yet fully committed; it coordinates with natural stone tiles, warm wood accessories, and aged brass or antique bronze hardware.

They photograph well and date well; the current interest in warm, earthy bathroom palettes is not a flash-in-the-pan trend.

Anthracite

A dark, cool charcoal tone that sits between black and grey. Anthracite vanities suit contemporary and industrial-influenced bathrooms, pairing well with large-format concrete-effect tiles and brushed nickel or chrome hardware.

Navy Blue

Bold without being aggressive. Navy works against white metro tiles, pale stone floors, and gold fixtures; a classic UK bathroom combination that has remained in demand for over a decade. It creates strong contrast without the starkness of black.

Dusky Pink / Blush

The softest option in the coloured range. Blush suits spa-influenced bathrooms and pairs well with warm white or cream tiles, brushed gold hardware, and natural textures. It reads as restrained rather than feminine when the surrounding palette is kept neutral.

Sizes Across the Coloured Range

The Boston Green and Boston Matt Black are both available at 600mm; compact wall-hung units sized for cloakrooms, en-suites, and secondary bathrooms where floor space is limited but a colour statement is still the intention.

The Kensington Black steps up to 750mm and 900mm, both wall-hung, with optional side cabinets available at each size to extend storage without increasing the main unit footprint.

The Imperial freestanding range runs in two sizes. At 600mm, both the Sage Green and Light Beige are standalone vanity cabinets with an integrated basin; complete as a single unit. At 1200mm, both colours are available as a full combination suite: vanity cabinet, toilet cabinet, ceramic toilet, WRAS-approved water tank, gold flush plate, marble top, and basin, all supplied together as a matched set.

Wall-Hung or Freestanding

Both installation types are available within the coloured range.

Wall-hung Vanity Units

The Boston and Kensington Black units are wall-mounted, keeping the floor visible beneath. This makes smaller bathrooms feel larger and gives the colour more visual impact by lifting the unit into the room rather than anchoring it to the floor.

Freestanding Vanity Unit

The Imperial Sage Green and Imperial Light Beige units stand on the floor, which suits principal bathrooms where the vanity needs to carry more visual weight and where floor-level storage is part of the design brief. The 1200mm suite format integrates the toilet unit seamlessly alongside the basin cabinet for a built-in look without built-in costs.

Basins Across the Coloured Range

The Boston Green, Boston Matt Black, and Kensington Black all include integrated stone resin basins; the basin is part of the unit, not a separate purchase. The stone resin finish is matt, non-porous, and easy to maintain without specialist cleaners.

The Imperial freestanding units include a ceramic basin at 600mm and a full ceramic basin with marble-top countertop at 1200mm suite level. If you are specifying a separate basin to complete a custom configuration, our basins category carries above-counter and undermount options in sizes compatible with the coloured vanity range.

Highly Rated by 5,400+ Customers on Trustpilot

Royale Stones holds a 4.7-star Trustpilot rating from more than 5,400 verified UK reviewers. The team's willingness to assist with pre-purchase decisions, including colour comparisons and specification queries, features consistently in customer feedback. All reviews are publicly visible and unmoderated at our Trustpilot profile.

One practical note: vanity unit samples are not available to order. If you are deciding between two colours, our showroom team can walk you through the displays in person, and the product pages carry photography under multiple lighting conditions to help make the call online.

See Coloured Vanities In Person Before You Commit

Colour is the one specification that screen photography cannot fully represent. The Imperial Sage Green and Boston Green read differently under showroom lighting, natural light, and photography, and that difference matters when you are coordinating with tiles, flooring, and hardware across a full room.

Our showrooms in Birmingham, Watford, Peterborough, Lincoln, and Kent carry coloured vanity displays alongside coordinating tile samples. The team can discuss colour combinations, tile pairings, and installation considerations without an appointment.
