Dijon Honed and Tumbled Natural Limestone Tiles - 600x400x15mm
Authentic limestone with timeless country character
Dijon limestone is one of most enduring and sought-after natural stones, prized for its soft cream and pale biscuit tones, gentle fossil detailing and subtle clouding. Each tile is quarried from natural limestone, then finished by hand – meaning every piece carries its own unique veining, shading and mineral markings. The overall effect is warm, characterful and unmistakably European, perfect for homes where craftsmanship and provenance matter.
Supplied in a generous 600 x 400 mm format, these tiles work beautifully in a classic brick-bond, half-bond or running stretcher layout to create a relaxed, traditional floor that feels considered yet wonderfully lived-in.
Honed surface for a soft, refined finish
The honed finish gives each tile a smooth, low-sheen surface that is comfortable underfoot and easy to clean, while preserving the natural depth and movement of the stone. Unlike polished marble, honed limestone reflects light gently rather than harshly – ideal for creating calm, elegant interiors.
Tumbled edges for an aged, hand-laid character
Each tile is finished with gently tumbled edges, softly rounded and lightly chipped to mimic centuries of natural wear. This handcrafted detail softens grout joints, adds tactile warmth and gives floors and walls the timeless appearance of a long-established French farmhouse, château or English country kitchen.
